Our family recalls the cool, starry night we sat in the yard until 3:00 a.m. anticipating Brett's entry into this world. We were blessed during the years when he shared with us his particular light and his own little touch of magic. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family, all so very, very special to us.

We never met Brett, but we have been blessed to know Brian and his family for years. Our prayers are with you all. May you find comfort in each other and remember Matthew 5:5, the third beatitude – “Blessed are those who mourn; they shall be comforted.”

Brett's homegoing gives us all something more to go to heaven for and I can't wait! Brett will always be remembered and loved by all of our family. My prayers are for those of us left on earth to stay strong in the Lord. Love to my sister Karen and Jerry,Brian, Chris and Jeff and families and to Bob and Billie and their family, and of course to my precious mother, Hazel Dye, who has lost another grandson way too soon!
