Carol Greco Obituary

GRECO

Carol Bernardine (nee Heringer) 76, passed away August 23, 2015 in Fulshear, Texas surrounded by her family. Born July 26, 1939 in Covington, KY to William J. Heringer and Bernardina W. Fipp of Newport, KY. Carol graduated from Good Samaritan Hospital, School of Nursing, in Cincinnati, OH in 1960. In addition to raising her three children, her work experience included nursing, residential property management, and nearly two decades as an elementary and pre-school teacher aid. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, reading, socializing with friends and neighbors, and preparing elaborate home cooked meals for family celebrations. She is survived by her three children Patricia A. Williams (husband John), Christina M. Shabet (husband Alex), Vincent P. Greco (wife Jennifer); her grandchildren Lindsay, Jacob, Katherine, Shawn, Sydney and Lauren; her siblings Judith E. Stewart (nee Heringer), and Dr. William J. Heringer (wife Kathleen), and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Mary Ann Byrne (nee Heringer). Final internment to be held at St. Stephen's Cemetery in Fort Thomas, KY on June 11th, 2016 at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Waves of Impact at 326 Camelot Drive Oceanside, CA 92054 or online at www.wavesofimpact.com in memory of Carol and in honor of her Godson Jacob Shabet.
