Charles LICHTENDAHL Obituary

LICHTENDAHL

Charles H. Lichtendahl. July 20, 1921 - August 30, 2011. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Charles passed away on August 30th at the age of ninety. He is survived by Irma, his wife of 65 years, two children, four grandchildren, and one grandchild. With degrees from the National Brewers Academy in New York, and an Associate's Degree in Electrical Communication Technology from the University of Cincinnati, Charles was a Brewmaster for the Hudepohl Schoenling Brewing Company. Charles served in World War II as an Aircraft Technician and received an Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon with Bronze and Silver Stars. He and his wife spent their summers in Bondurant, Wyoming; a memorial service will be held there on September 24th at The Church of St. Hubert the Hunter. A private burial will take place at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati. Condolences may be expressed to the family online by visiting www.allenmortuaries.net

All of us here at the dental office who have known Charles through the years will certainly miss Charle's sense of humor and quick wit. We wish Irma and the rest of the family peace at this time and joy in having had Charles in their lives.
