Hi Dad! Wow, the time is really flying. I was stunned to do the math last week and see you've been gone for nine years. Have you seen Amy and Frank? They joined you on the other side this year. I've been thinking of you and the past a lot lately since I have been working on cleaning out your old business and personal files. You Sure did do a lot of things and touch a lot of lives in your lifetime. I miss you. Love, Brian

Hi Dad. Coming up on 8 years since you left. Wow. Things are about how they were then - the same but always changing. I'm officially retired (again) but still help some people out with hvac problems and I will be changing my system this spring. Still miss being able to bounce ideas off of you. I miss our lunches and golf dates as well. I see your face in the mirror sometimes when I quickly look. It's strange. Have you talked to Valerie yet? She recently came to join you. I suppose that in the big scheme of things I will be there soon. Not too soon I hope. Thanks for everything you tried to teach me and for everything you did for me. I miss you. Love, Brian

Hi Dad. It's me again. Found some interesting family tree info this year that I bet you would have liked. Things about your great grandpa. I wonder if your spirits are co-mingling in the afterworld? No major changes this last year although I think I am going to retire this year. Mom is getting a Navy plaque for your grave. I recently saw a picture of you on a Navy ship which I had not seen before. You were looking good! Love, Brian.

Hi Dad. Wow, six years. Time flies. I've been down to the property a lot this year. Mom paid to have the driveway fixed so now we can drive up to the lower meadow again. I always think of you when I'm there. Who knows, I might even get that cabin built where you talked of putting one. Thanks for everything, Love, Brian.

Hi Dad. Another year come and gone. It's been a crazy one because of people freaking out because they are afraid of dying so much that they stop living. But I've still been working, still coming across jobs where I wish I could ask your opinion. I think you would have enjoyed the stock market this past year, lots of movement up and down but mostly up. Mom is doing well and the house is about how you left it. Planning on changing out the boiler this year. You sure put in a good one almost 60 years ago! Are you offended that they put an ad for a food delivery service on the notice about your passing anniversary? I think you'd find that funny. Still miss you. I'm getting closer to that time when I'll be on my way out too and then I'll find out what you did. Say hello to Cam's dad if you run into him. Love you, Brian.

Hi dad. Well it's been almost four years. Seems hard to believe. Still miss you. You show up in my dreams from tie to time and it's interesting because sometimes you are like you were before you left us and sometimes you are completely healthy even though you know that you weren't before. I enjoy those dreams and it makes me feel like you are in a better place now. But we still miss your presence with us. I started the business back up and Mark and I went to the property recently and the kids are all getting older and we are carrying on. Take care, Love, Brian.
