Daniel STORER

STORER Dr. Daniel Louis, of Falmouth, Kentucky, and dear husband of Barbara Dickison; beloved father of Timothy J. (Diane) Storer, M.D. of Columbus, OH and Douglas M. Storer of Dayton, OH; dear son of Mabel Henize Storer of Williamsburg, OH, beloved grandfather of Emma and Clara Storer; dear brother of Gary (Barbara) Storer of Crosby Township, Ohio, died Tues., Sept 21, at the age of 59. A graduate of Miami University (1967) and the University of Cincinnati Medical School (1971), he had a long, distinguished career as an emergency medicine physician, which included teaching and supervising paramedics at University Hospital. He was the first medical director over the University Hospital Air Care program which he helped to establish. He served two years in the U.S. Air Force (1971-1973). He received numerous awards in recognition of his tireless service to emergency medicine including the EMS Spirit of Excellence Lifetime Achievement Award from Univesity Hospital and Children's Hospital and the Scott Frame, M.D. F.A.C.S Trauma and Emergency Medical Care Award. He was a member of the Williamsburg United Methodist Church and the Falmouth Rotary Club. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, September 24, at the Falmouth Christian Church, 303 W. Shelby St., Falmouth, KY 41040. Visitations will be from 4-8 P.M. on Thursday, September 23, at the Woodhead Funeral Home, 310 W. Shelby St., Falmouth, KY 41040 and from 1-2 P.M. on Friday, September 24 at the Falmouth Christian Church preceding the service. Memorials are suggested to The Salvation Army, 114 E.
