Daniel L. Sr. husband of the late Charlene A. Wiot (nee Reuter) beloved father of Dan (Barbara) Jr., Tim, and Judy Wiot, devoted brother of Margie Parish, dear grandfather of Christine and Jessica. August 17, 2013. Age 89 years. Residence Mt. Lookout. Dan served with the 9th Army Air Corp 558 Bomb Squad, 387 bomb groups in WWII, received the Distinguished Flying Cross for Meritorious Service on a bomb run, and he flew 49 missions over Germany, and received 8 air medals. Dan also received the European Medal with 3 bronze stars for battles at Ardennes Forest, Rhineland, and Central Europe during the Battle of the Bulge and his unit also received a Presidential unit citation at the Ardennes Battle. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lord Christ the King Church Mt. Lookout on Friday, Aug. 23, at 10 AM. Friends may visit at T P WHITE & SONS Funeral Home 2050 Beechmont Ave. Mt. Washington on Thursday from 5-8 PM with American Legion Post 484 service on Thur. at 7:30 PM at the Funeral Ho me. Memorials to American Legion Post 484
