I worked with Darlene in San Diego’s Mission Bay Hospital in the mid 80’s. She was very special to me and will always have a special place in my heart. I was deeply affected when I learned she passed away. Rest in God’s loving embrace......

I served with Darlene over 28 years ago in the USN. So sad to hear of her passing. My condolences to her friends and family. May she rest in peace. Would love to hear from one of her sisters so I can pass some info to Darlene's old shipmates. [email protected]

I had the pleasure of experiencing EMMAUS with Darlene. She and I were on the same walk and she brought such life and laughter to the members of that walk. I will always remember her as my EMMAUS sister, someone who never hesitated to give words of encouragement or to express her love of Christ to the people around her.
Peace to you Darlene, rest in the arms of Jesus. I will see you again.
Love, Gail Harris

Darlene was such an angel, often engaging others for conversation about Joyce Meyer, who motivated her to trust in The Lord at all times and to ne'er lean on her own opinion, I loved very much as she fondly referred to me as friend, we would talk for hours about most things. god saw she wasgetting tired and blessed her to dwell with him. I will miss her ...greatly my prayer is to one day seeker again.

Dear Family of Darlene,
I was blessed to know Darlene while she lived in Western Hills. I saw an amazing side of Darlene that shined through in special times. I saw her help friends in need and bring a cheerful giving spirit and make a huge difference to those friends' lives. This is the Darlene that I believe was genuine and real. She loved helping people and bringing the light of Christ to them. I am richer because of your Darlene! Love, Kathy Lowry
