David, beloved husband of the late Marilyn K. (nee Howard) Callahan for 64 years. Loving father of James (Mary Alice), Timothy (Gayle) and David P. (Patty) Callahan. Dear grandfather of Brian (Mindee) and Bradley (Lindsey) Callahan. 4 great grandchildren; Alyssa, Riley, Evan, and Reid, and his beloved dog, Barney. Longtime resident of Greenhills and charter member Forest Chapel United Methodist Church. Passed Sat, April 23, 2016 at age 87. Memorials to Hoxworth Blood Center, 3130 Highland Ave. Cinti, 45267. Visitation Wed, April 27, 2016 from 12:00 Noon until services at 2:00 pm at GWEN MOONEY FUNERAL HOME, 4389 Spring Grove Ave, 45223 (513) 853-1035. Entombment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery. www.springgrove.org

David was the neighbor that was always so kind and considerate. Recalling those great days on Hadley Rd. , my brother and I were blessed to have great kids everywhere, and their great parents...the Elfers, Hans, Prestons, Rawlings, and the Callahans opened their homes and hearts to us all. My dad passed at 69 in 1985. You were fortunate to have your father to a great age. Our sympathies to all.
