Edna (nee Carter), wife of the late Myrl Shannon for 57 years, age 89 years, devoted mother of Allen (Tena) Shannon, Ruby (Ira Jr.) Stout, Marlene Dean & Sharon Cook, proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren & 4 great-great grandchildren, sister-in-law of Wilma Carter, sister of the late Vivian Berryman, Melvin, James & Rollin Carter, Aug. 5, 2012. Services at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington on Wednesday Aug. 8 at 11 A.M. Friends may visit on Tuesday 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Memorials to Hospice of Cincinnati.
