Edward McCARTHY Obituary

McCARTHY

Edward J. McCarthy, 52, loving and cherished husband, suddenly passed away on February 7, 2015. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 27, 1962 to the late Edward and Mary (nee Weisenberger) McCarthy. He is survived by his wife, the bereft "love of his life" Marysue McCarthy (nee Gaudio); his sister Kathleen Puthoff (Leonard) and his brother Thomas, of Cincinnati; and loving nephews and nieces. Ed graduated from Norwood High School and received his B.S. in Chemistry from Marietta College and his MBA from Oglethorpe University. He was employed by Videojet Technologies Inc. as a Technical Trainer. Ed was an avid gamer, and a fantasy football and blackjack aficionado. He was a Georgia Tech football fan, a former high school wrestling referee, and a sincere lover of chocolate. His loving nature, wonderful sense of humor, sweet smile and gentle soul will be missed beyond measure. A memorial service in his honor will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at H.M. Patterson & Son - Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, Atlanta, GA 30328. Visitation from 10:30AM to Noon, with the memorial to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity
