Eric M. Sierra beloved husband of Lisa (nee Emley) Sierra. Loving and devoted father of Megan, Nick and Nate Sierra. Dear son of Phil and Denise (nee Hasenohr) Sierra. Cherished brother of Joe (Teresa) Sierra, Lisa (Kenny) Jacobs, and Michelle Sierra. Son-in-law of Ed and Jayne Emley and Ken and Tecla Steinfort. Caring uncle of Kaitlyn, Carter, Molly, Alex, and Julie. Eric proudly served 15 years with the Cincinnati Police Department. He was currently serving as a Sergeant with District 3. Eric was loved by everyone that knew him. Passed away suddenly on November 8th. 39 years old. Family will receive friends Thursday, November 13th from 9am-12:30pm at Miami Whitewater United Methodist Church, 9700 Dry Fork Road, Harrison, OH 45030. FOP service at 12:15pm. Funeral Mass at 1:30pm at St. John the Baptist Church, Harrison, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to "Eric Sierra's Children Fund" for the benefit of his children c/o Cincinnati Police Federal Credit Union. Eric is welcomed home by Joe Birkenhauer his childhood friend and all the others have gone ahead. It is his smile, his kindeness, and concern for all that will keep him alive in your hearts. My prayers and deepest sympathy to all Eruc's family.

"Sgt. Sierra will be missed. He never missed a beat when you asked him for his assistance no better how simple or complex the request was. Eric had a way about him. A very gentle and kind approach. We could count on him via e-mail and voicemail or at WCA Meetings, District 3 Resource Meetings, National Night Out, and other events. May Our Lord look over the Sierra and CPD families.
