Erich Ringel Obituary
Hamilton - Ringel, Erich W. M.D., age 92, of Hamilton, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018. He was born, June 6, 1925, in Vienna, Austria, the son of Siegfried and Hildegarde (Bienenwald) Ringel. In 1951, Dr. Ringel established his medical practice in Hamilton. Dr. Ringel was a past president of the Beth Israel Synagogue. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Rita (Kaplan) Ringel; four sons, Mark Ringel, Dr. David (Veronica) Ringel of Ft. Wayne, IN, Ronald Ringel, and Daniel (Allison) Ringel of Mt. Pleasant, SC; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and brother-in-law, Dr. Jerold (Nancy) Kaplan. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gerry Ringel and grandson, Aaron Ringel. PLEASE NO FLOWERS. Memorials/donations may be directed to the Beth Israel Synagogue, 50 N 6th Street, Hamilton, OH 45011 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203. Visitation will be Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 S 3rd Street, Hamilton, OH 45011 from noon til time of service at 1:00 PM, Rabbi Eric Slaton officiating.
