Gary DAVIS Obituary
Gary E., beloved father of Jennifer Perantoni, Geoffrey (Jennifer) Davis, Gregory Davis, Gary (Kim Jostworth) Davis, Jody (Kevin) Pohlmeyer, Jessica Davis, brother of Greg (Jane) Davis and Jillian (Jeff Kelleher) Davis, grandfather of Jackson Davis, Jack, Luke, and Drew Pohlmeyer, Morgan Brockman, and Travis Fletcher. Thursday, October 6, 2011. Gary was the first wine steward for The Kroger Co. and worked at the Hyde Park Kroger for many years. He will be missed by many and would want everyone to raise a glass to celebrate his life. Friends may call at the Elden A. Good Funeral Home, 2620 Erie Ave., west of Hyde Park Sq., on Wednesday from 10 AM until time of service at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to ZERO-Project to end Prostate Cancer or ArtsWave. Condolences may be sent through www.goodfuneralhome.com.

I don't know what to say. I have known Gary for 50 years. A year in Monterey, CA and 2 in Berlin. We have raised a few. Regrets to you all. I will miss him, he was a brother to me.

To the Davis Family, especially brother Greg:
Gary's death was a total shock to me as we had just talked the day before. Gary and i shared many laughs over the past two years and he will be remembered fondly by the Reusing twins. We will miss Gary, his humor, and easy going nature.
Gary, Leo & I spent many Sunday mornings playing golf at Greencrest G&CC in Mason, before his prostrate treatment and some after. Gary worked at Hill Rom the same time that Zita & I did back in the 80's.

We will miss Gary and his beaming smile. It was one thing you could always count on when passing by the wine section, that and the fact Gary was very proud of his children and their accomplishments. Our sympathy to all of you.
