I just heard of Gregg's passing this evening (October 1). He and I were schoolmates from kindergarten through eight years at Resurrection School. He was one of the few boys as tall as I was (5'8) at the 8th grade graduation dance (smile) and I remember his sense of humor and kindness. My deepest condolence to all who knew and loved him.

Becky and family,
I only had the opportunity to meet you one time but I recall Gregg talking about you every time I saw him. He loved you and his entire family very much. I grew up with Gregg, right around the corner from him. We went to grade school and high school together, played little league baseball, football, basketball, and were very close friends throughout our years as children. At 18 I entered the police cadet program and Gregg was off to the US Navy though we would be united again in the police department some 10 years later. Though we drifted apart during our years with the department, I was always glad to see Gregg and felt a re-kindling of the great friendship we shared whenever our paths crossed. I was devastated when I heard Gregg had passed away and am still in disbelief that he is no longer with us. Unfortunately, I was in San Francisco when the funeral was conducted so I was not able to be with my friend that last day. I have often hoped that he was greeted by my father as entered life hereafter as he and my father were very close during our childhood years. I have prayed for you, your family and the repose of Gregg's soul. I have always believed that anyone who touches so many people during their life, as did Gregg, has a special place in God's plan and I, threfore, know that Gregg is in a very special place. I shall never forget my friend and forever hope you the very best in whatever life's future may bring you. Please know that Gregg was a caring and loving man who truly adored you. He was my friend and I shall miss him.

It's not the years in your life that counts, ...it's the life in your years that counts.
We are so sorry about the loss of your father, Chad and Ashley. Your father loved you both dearly, he only had two, and that was only both of you. So no matter what ...you two will always be together and in his heart.
