Jack,76, beloved husband of Wilma (nee Simpson) Teegarden; devoted father of Connie Tackett, Jack (Tammy) Teegarden and Julie Teegarden; grandfather of 8; great-grandfather of 5; dear brother of Mary Thornberry and Bill Teegarden; also survived by many other loving family members and friends. Passed away August 16, 2017. Visitation Friday, August 25, 6-8 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Funeral Service Saturday, August 26, 10:00 AM at Madison Avenue Baptist Church, 10 E. Robbins Street, Covington, Kentucky 41011. Entombment will immediately follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. circle of friends born and raised robbin and banklick cov ky we hung on corner and did everything together . everyone got along no egs. i hunted fished played cards pitched pennies etc with jack. what a great guy our circle of friends is getting smaller ray larry jim jamie dave and now jack checked in with the man upstairs. small circle left pete don bud and myself. had lunch with wilma and jack days brfore he passed. i allways looked forward to having lunch with then when i came in from vegas. i moved across country but still cinsidered him one of my best friends. he was so lucky to have wilma in his life. as one of the guys said hes now in heaven pitching pennies we will sure miss him so many great memories

Jack's love for the Lord was expressed to us all by the smile on his face, the joy in his heart and the sweet sound of his voice. I am forever blessed to have shared a song with him.
His greatest wish was to sing in the heavenly choir. Heaven received one of the best. You will forever be missed. you will be cherished in our hearts. God bless Wilma and her family.

Dear Wilma,
We are so sorry to learn of Jack's passing. It came as quite a shock to us since we were unaware that he was seriously ill. We always enjoyed seeing him when we were able to return to Madison Avenue Baptist Church for a visit. Jack's love of the Lord and his love of praising Him through singing were always evident and contagious. Love and prayers for God's presence and comfort. Ben and Elaine Owen

My heart goes out to Wilma, Connie, Jack, Julie. I cannot imagine what my life would have been without Jack as the most influential friend I ever had. We often talked about missing the long hours we shared talking about Family,Jobs,Politics when away from home. I will miss them more now. My prayers are with you all. I,m sorry but I haven't seen Jack in 53 years. I moved to California in 1964 and haven't been back except for funerals, I'm sorry to say. All my wife and myself prayers for your family.

Sorry to hear this .. We loved Jack the first time we met him at church . Always a smile. And made you feel so welcome every time you walked thru the doors .. We just heard this on Sunday evening from a buddy of his at Beaverlick Baptist Church . Heavens Gain. RIP Jack! You will never be forgotten by New Godspeed !

I have been friends with Jack and Wilma for over 50 years. I will miss Jack's sense of humor and fun ways. Whenever my sister and I would visit Jack and Wilma on the weekends he would always take us to Red Lobster and teased me when I ordered tiny shrimp extra on my salad (Jack was paying the bill). That joke continued for years and I so wanted to take him to Red Lobster when they visited us in Eastern Kentucky, but Jack got sick and never got to visit again. I will forever miss you Jack.

Jack was a dear friend and Christian brother who loved the Lord and was devoted to his family. He was a great bass singer with the Landmark Quartet for many years and was a positive influence on everybody he met. I will miss him!
