James JANSEN Obituary

JANSEN

James (Jim) Joseph Jansen. It is with much sadness we announce that Jim Jansen succumbed to a brain tumor on December 11, 2014. Jim resided in Western Hills for 63 years. He attended St Aloysius grade school and graduated from LaSalle High School. He had been employed at Mabley & Carew/Elder-Beerman for over 27 years. Jim was a devoted son to the late Joseph Walter and Viola Elizabeth (Hoeffer) Jansen. Loving brother to Bonnie Burbrink, Karen Strohofer and the late David Jansen. Kind hearted to brother in-laws: Bruce Burbrink and George Strohofer. Amusing and silly gift giver to his three nephews: Brian Burbrink (wife Melissa), Scott Burbrink and Alex Strohofer and great uncle to: Brayden and Logan Burbrink. We find comfort in knowing Jim is in heaven with loved ones that proceeded him. In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made to your local SPCA in Jim's name. Jim LOVED all animals especially dogs.
