James Talbot Obituary
Melbourne - James "Jim" Talbot, 71, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away in his sleep May 22, 2020, after a long illness.
Jim was born in Covington, Kentucky on December 23, 1948. He graduated from Holmes High School and continued his education at Northern KY University. After retiring from FPL, Jim worked several years for the TSA at Orlando Airport. He enjoyed boating, fishing, scuba diving and watching U.K. basketball.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Brenda (Bass) Talbot, and sister, Deborah (Talbot) Moak, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Willa (Whitaker) Talbot, and his brother Jeffrey Talbot.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be given to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.

We were not related but were brothers. We went to Latonia Baptist church, sang in the choir, attended Northern Kentucky Community College, worked at Latonia Albers on night crew, saw the Jimi Hendrix Experience, the friends of Jim in the picture vacationed in Miami and on the way home the car broke down in Lexington so we called Jim and he drove down with tools and helped with the repair, attended Morehead State University briefly, I was best man at Jim and Brenda's wedding. As we all married and went our separate ways we were not the type to call of write but I know we were always in our thoughts. Jim is now with his parents and brother and having coffee with Steve Bingham in that big Frisch's in the sky. I'll miss you, see you on the other side.

I knew Jim from the Shriners years ago. He was a fine man and dedicated Mason and Shriner.
