Janet SANTORO Obituary

SANTORO Janet A. (nee Gilhart), beloved wife of Lou, devoted mother of Kim (Shawn) Carpenter, John (Carrie) Santoro, and Julie (Jason) Ramstein, loving grandmother of Ali, Colin and Reese Carpenter, Ian and Marlo Santoro and Jake Ramstein, dear sister of Charles III (Sherry), Robert (Jennifer), John (Edie) and Rick (Denise) Gilhart. Passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008. Janet loved spending time with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed boating, walking on the beach and watching beautiful sunsets, both in Florida and at Put-In-Bay, Ohio. She was founder of the Janet A. Santoro Breast Cancer Foundation, and devoted her time and efforts in helping breast cancer survivors and their families, especially with their personal needs. Visitation will be held at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt 42), West Chester, OH 45069 Wednesday, June 11 from 5-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, June 12 at St. John Church, 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., West Chester, OH 45069 at 10 a.m. Memorials may be directed to the Janet A. Santoro Breast Cancer Foundation, c/o the funeral home.
