Jean Keuffer Obituary
- - May 15, 1989 - August 31, 2018
Beloved daughter of Brent & Liz Keuffer, sister of Kevin Keuffer, granddaughter of Paul & Kay Conrad, niece of Paul & Roni Conrad, Steve & Sharon Conrad, Susan Conrad, Daniel Conrad, partner of Kelly Kass, cousin & dear friend to many. Jean has joined her grandmother, Rosemary Conrad, on the other side.
Jean graduated from Clark Montessori and UC's DAAP. Loved ones knew her as artistic, creative, unique, and fun. She had a warm, open heart and was a friend to all, especially those who struggled to fit in. Jean saw beauty in everything, including the unusual and offbeat, cared deeply for animals (especially her rescue cat Trappy), and was a huge supporter and respected member of local arts and music scenes. Also known as DJ Home Alone 2, she was known for her fun events, especially Subculture. She brought joy to all the lives she touched.
A celebration of Jean's life will take place at Bellarmine Chapel at X.U. on Saturday, September 15 at 11:00 AM. All are welcome. Internment will take place at Spring Grove in October. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Ohio Alleycat Rescue (www.ohioalleycat.org) or the Contemporary Arts Center, where she worked.
