Jean SVENSSON Obituary

SVENSSON Jean C. (nee: Atkins) Loving wife of the late Soldan Al. Loving mother of the late Patricia Anderson. Stepmother of Ruth Woods and Stephen, Bradford, and Matthew Svensson. Devoted grandmother of her other "son" Troy (Brandy) Svensson. Also survived by 11 other grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Sister of Beverly (Don) Frierson, Doris Ann "Dody" (Boyd) Thrasher, the late Frances "Woodie" Clemo, the late Edward Clyde Atkins, and the late Don Atkins. Several nieces and nephews. Jean, a resident of Union Township, passed away on August 13, 2009 at the age of 75. She was very proud of her accomplishments as a local bowling champion. She was an avid fan of her beloved Bengals, and will also be remembered for her passion in ceramics. A time of visitation will be held at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 West Main St. (St. Rt. 125), Amelia on Tuesday, August 18 from 12 Noon until the time of funeral service at 2 PM. Interment Pierce Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, or the American Lung Association.
