I have no words to express my deepest sorrow on hearing of our loss of Jeff. He was a good friend and I feel privileged to have known him. I ran into him last year after many many years of not having seen him, I recognized him as soon as he smiled.i and all will miss him

Life just doesn't seem fair sometimes and this is one of those moments. I am so saddened by the sudden loss of one of my dearest friend's father. I will never forget the look on Heather's face when Jeff would pull up to our cheer practice on his motorcycle. Or him running around chasing Tyler in his adorable little eye patch. I extend my very deepest sympathy to the entire family. My heart aches for each and every one of you. I hope it comforts you to know that your grief is shared by so many who knew and loved Jeff. He will be missed greatly and remembered often.

Jeff was a great friend and teammate of mine at Lakota. His passing has brought back a flood of fond memories of the time we spent playing baseball and football together in our youth. Over the years, every time I heard the opening of "Glory Days" by Springsteen I thought of him. I will forever remember Jeff as a great athlete, but he was much more than that. I'm saddened by his sudden passing. I pray that the good Lord will bless his loved ones with comfort, and that Jeff may now rest in Heavenly peace.

Jeff was a great person with a good heart and kind soul. Fred and I are so grateful for the wonderful memories we have with Jeff on our Harleys to Nashville, TN, The Natural Bridge, all of the 469-mile journey on the Blue Ridge Parkway, plus many more local rides. We are saddened to hear of Jeff's passing, and he will be sorely missed. Our deepest condolences to the Stamper family.

Jeff, I know you will be missed. You and my brother Joe Stoken shared the same birthday and as soon as I told Joe about your passing, I felt his sorrow. I know you were a great friend to him, he enjoyed playing all kinds of sports with you and many others. I, Mary (Ashlie) Stoken, remember when I was a kid cheerleading with your sister Kim, I would ride my bike passed your house to see if you were out playing basketball because I always thought you were so cute and knew my brothers would have had a fit if I ever stopped to chat with you. Watch over your family Jeff and many blessings to the entire Stamper family. God bless.

I still view both his parents among my best teachers. We lived in the same subdivision and my brother Mark LaChapelle (died 6/4/16) and he were part of a band of bike-riding boys; scourge of the roller-skating girl's. My experience?...Memories, love and laughter is what gets you through. God bless.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Jeff. Jeff was a childhood friend of mine and my husband had the pleasure of being a co-worker of his at GE. Jeff was so well liked not only by his friends at school, but his co-workers. My husband said Jeff was probably the most well liked and respected managers at GE. I even had a message from a friend of mine that just retired from Wilmington College she remembers Jeff. He made an impact on people. He will be missed by so many. I pray that Jeff is at peace now. Mr. and Mrs Stamper, Kim, Heather and Tyler I pray that God surrounds you with family and friends that will help you through this very difficult time.
We are so very sorry for your loss.

I was fortunate to play with Jeff on numerous sports teams back in the day. It was fortunate for me because Jeff was not only the star (or one of the stars) of our team, he was usually one of the best players in the league which meant we won a lot, thanks greatly to him. He was not only a standout, he was also our leader. A leader that everyone liked and made all us role players know that we were important too.
However, the thing I relished the most about Jeff was his friendship. He was fun to be around and a good man that I will greatly miss. My sincerest heartfelt condolences to his family.
