Jerome KERNAN Obituary

KERNAN Jerome Bernard. Died Thursday, November 22, 2007 on his 75th birthday. Survived by his children Kathleen (Melvin) Bedree and Brian (Anne) Kernan, their mother Elizabeth Cappel Kernan, and his grandchildren Joseph, Samuel, amd Helen Bedree and Michael and Megan Kernan. Also survived by his youngest brother Daniel Kernan of Springfield, Ohio. Preceded in death by his oldest brother Elmer Kernan and his three sisters Marian Lammers, Roseanne Hummel, and Alice Conte, but survived by their spouses Joan Kernan, Gerald Lammers, Andrew Hummel, and Anthony Conte. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said Thursday, November 29th at 11 A.M. at the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 3457 Clifton Avenue. The family asks that no flowers be sent. Rather, to honor Jerry's lifetime of scholarship, teaching and love for books, memorials should be directed to The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, 800 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202 or to the school or charity of one's choice. The Gwen Mooney Funeral Home has been entrusted with final arrangements.
