John Bloom Obituary
White Oak - John Edward "Ned" Bloom. Age 73. Beloved husband of 49 years to Judie Bloom. Proud father of Theresa (Bryan) Tudor, John Bloom (Rett Vella), and Frances (Shannon) Ream. Loving grandfather of Emmaline and Chloe Tudor, and Owen and Samuel Ream. Brother of Larry (Maryann) Bloom, Phil (the late Esther Kaye) Bloom, Joel (Judy) Bloom, Steve ( Mandy) Bloom, and the late Dennis (Gloria) Bloom. Brother in law of John and Peggy Suetholz.
Native of Mt. Washington, Ned graduated from McNicholas High School and opened Bloom Furniture and Video in 1983. He ran the business until he sold the store in 1999 and went to work at Barth Vernon Furniture in Price Hill until 2003.
Ned passed away on February 26,2021 , at Covenant Village under the care of Hospice of Cincinnati. He made the selfless decision to donate his body to the Department of Anatomy, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. for research. Memorials can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, PO Box 633597, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45263. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends.

Sorry to hear of Ned´s Passing I was their UPS delivery men for many years at their Elmwood Furniture Location.I´d sure like to catch up to Steve if anybody can help me. Last time I heard he lived on 5Mile road.

Ned was a joy. He was funny and kind. He was a very close cousin who grew up only a mile away from our family. I have wonderful childhood memories of him and his fun sense of humor.

Ned was a good friend. We do not meet many really good friends,Ned was one that if he liked you , you were golden. Kathy and I are sad too hear of his passing. There a place in HEAVEN for Ned. I hope there is a
garden to grow tomatoes.

Judy, Tom and I were sorry to hear that Ned had passed. Cathy and I shared fond memories of our childhood years with Ned. We especially remembered being at Grandma’s front porch playing who stole the cookie from the cookie jar. He was a wonderful friend when we were children. I bet he was a wonderful grandpa. Love, Jody
