Joy CRYDER Obituary
Joy I. (nee Cullen), beloved wife of Dick Cryder. Loving mother of Cathy, Dick, Jr. ( Karen), and Stevie Cryder, and Dianna (Tim) Theiss. Loving grandmother of Jordyn, Lauren and Jackson. Dear sister of Nadine Schmidt and the late Harry Cullen. Passed peacefully Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the age of 77 years. Visitation on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, Ohio 45246 from 6-8 PM. Graveside service on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 686 Mount Moriah Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45245 at 12 Noon followed by a memorial service at the Presbyterian Church of Wyoming, 225 Wyoming Avenue at 2 PM.

To all the Cryders...Mrs. Cryder was such a huge and wonderful part of my childhood! So many memories! She always seemed to love the chaos of having all of us Goldschmidt's over. She would actually watch MTV and movies on cable with us! She was the only Mom I knew at the time to stay up past 10pm, which amped up her cool factor BIG TIME, in my eyes! I will always remember her laugh, the way she could imitate Puppa and his 'fly catching' condition, and the way she thought it was hilarious when Mr. Cryder ate the dog food and noodle dish Diana and I had so carefully made for Duke (we even put the mixture on a plate and heated it up for the dog)...when we thought we were really going to get in trouble for that one! You are all lucky to have such an awesome Mom and I am lucky to have been a part of that for a lot of my childhood! I will really miss her.
