I live in Metairie Louisiana. I heard about Kyle when all this happened to him. My mother and I have been praying for him every day since it happened. I know that the Lord was with him at the time that he died because he knew he was dying ! he was not alone, he was never alone! the Lord was with him. I am so sorry for your loss. Hello Im deeply sorry for what happened ever since I heard about this news its really heartbreaking for me to listen to this story my thoughts and prayers go out for your family I hope he is at heaven right now. I am a mother from Arizona I have a 3 children two boys and one girl I have told my 13 year old boy about this and he is sad as well and prays for your family as well as I do. I hope your memories of Kyle will make you feel better. I will always remember this story and I will keep it in my heart. I am so very sorry. You should be holding your precious boy in your arms right now. I am a mom of a wonderful boy as well and have been heartbroken since hearing what happened, wishing that somehow this could be undone. His last words to his mom show what an amazing son he was and how loved he was. I read the news story about Kyle today and my heart is just broken for you. As the mom of a sweet 19 yr old boy, I can't begin to imagine your pain but know it must be gut wrenching. Even I feel frustrations, what-ifs and whys...this shouldn't have happened. I send loving prayers that God will help your family through this. I will be sharing this story with my children to create a backup plan for emergencies so something like this is never repeated. I'm so very sorry for your loss and pray your city makes the changes it needs to honor Kyle and help others.

I lost my 16-year-old son Evan due to a sudden cardiac arrest, and heart problems don't even run in the family. (Evan had asked Jesus for the forgiveness of his sins.)
I don't know why or how, but Jesus let me know my son is in Heaven.
I don't know why Kyle or my son Evan died.
Kyle is also waiting for you in Heaven and you will see him again. I pray that you may you will find strength in God, all your loved ones, your community and each other.

I didn't know him, but Kyle is my hero. I have never been affected by a story like Kyle's. His bravery is beyond comprehension to me. My heart broke for that child. You are obviously great parents to raise such an extraordinary young man, you must be very proud. I am very sorry for your loss and wish there was something, anything I could do to help. I am so sorry for the loss of your son. I lost my son a year ago. It''s a long healing process that we are still in the mist of. He looked liked a beautiful spirit. I lost my only brother in 1996. He also was a beautiful spirit. The only way I find comfort is in knowing how much I loved these individuals. It is hard to figure out. What I am discovering is to live your life with as much joy and love that you can muster.

I read about Kyle's passing and I literally broke down and cried. As a mother, my heart ached for him, and for the parents, family and friends.
