Larry Rayburn Obituary
Fort Thomas, KY - Larry Denver Rayburn, 72, passed away Monday July 9, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Kenova United Methodist Church in Kenova, WV with Rev. Jim Richards officiating. Interment will follow the service at Dock's Creek Cemetery in Kenova, WV. Larry was born March 5, 1946 in Louisa, KY, son of the late James Woodrow "Woody" and Annabelle Michael Rayburn. He graduated with an accounting degree from Marshall University. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, travel and golf. He was a member of Kenova United Methodist Church and attended Lakeside Christian Church. In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his brother John R. Rayburn. Larry is survived by his beloved wife Nancy Rayburn; and was the proud father of Scott Rayburn (Kim), Melissa Hunt (Joe), and Denver Rayburn and grandchildren Emily, Ethan and Drew. Visitation will be held Friday June 13, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, WV. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeside Christian Church (195 Buttermilk Pike, Lakeside Park, KY 41017) or Kenova United Methodist Church (503 15th St. Kenova, WV 25530).
