I am related to Wasif whom I met for the first time when he came with Leah and the 2 children at the time.
I have just come across this site and was very sad to hear about Leah - lost in 2011 the same year as
my late mother. I still remember Leah as a gentle soul.
Would love to hear from any of the family - Jenine and Shareef.
I wanted to register my sadness at the loss even after the passage of time.

Mark, I was so sad to hear about your mother. She and your father would visit the library ( Hyde Park Branch ) often. Your mother was so caring to your father, it was clear she loved him very much. I'd like to hear how you are doing [email protected]. Again my thoughts are with you and your family

Yes, I was there when my dear roommate and early mentor Dr. Wasif Abboshi met, fell in love and married Leah Marie Russell. They produced two great children and seems it was not that long ago. I and Rabia, my wife, are so sorry and mourn the sudden departure of Leah Marie. She was a great wife and mother and she will be greatly missed.

Leah was the first person we met at the Madrid Club in Naples, Florida. We were neigbors there for several years. She was a lovely and charming woman whom we remember fondly. Our sincere condolences to Wasif and her family.
