Lloyd E., beloved husband of the late Ruth T. Lachtrupp (nee Flaherty). Loving father of Claire (the late Calvin) Patterson, David (Terri), Jeffrey and Tom Lachtrupp. Devoted grandfather of Christopher Patterson, Alicia (Michael) Brocker, Angela and Patrick Lachtrupp and great grandfather of Ella and Tracie. Dear brother of Robert (Marlene) Lachtrupp and the late Elve Lachtrupp. Special friend of Ms. Bobbie Russo. Proudly served on the USS Pennsylvania in the Pacific Theater. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at 92 years of age. Visitation St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church, 4366 Bridgetown Road, on Saturday, December 13th, from 9:00AM until time of Mass of Chrisitan Burial at 10:00AM. Memorials may be made to Lupus Foundation, 12930 Chippewa Road, Suite 4, Brecksville, OH 44141 or Boys Town, 14100 Crawford Street, Boys Town, NE 68010. B.J. My heartfelt sympathy to Lloyd Lachtrupp's family. I played golf with Lloyd at Fernbank Golf Course for many years and he was always amiable and fun as a playing partner. He was a good and decent man and I shall miss his presence and smiling face. Rest in peace, old friend.

We were saddened to hear of Lloyds passing. He lived a very full life and we were happy to have known him. He brought much happiness to our mom, Bobbi. May he rest in peace with Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
