EBY
Martha L. (nee Paffhausen), age 88, born in Highland Park, MI. Died in her home on September 29, 2014. Survived by her husband of 65 years Burton E. Eby, daughters Mary Frances (William) Mort and Anita E. Rudy, 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Natalie Tackett and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sons Francis Earl Eby and William E. Eby and siblings Ed, Jim, Jack and Phyllis Paffhausen, Mary Badger and Catherine Hailstones. Martha was former president of the St. Clare Guild at Mercy Franciscan Terrace. Memorial service Thursday, October 2, 2014, 6 p.m. at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 4380 Glendale Milford Rd., Glendale 45242 or www.crossroadshospice.com. Condolences at hodappfuneralhome.com

Dear Anita and Burt, I am so sorry to hear the passing of Martha. I enjoyed getting to know her. I witnessed so much love by the both of you toward Martha. She was in great hands here on earth and is now in the great hands of God. I pray the Lord's spirit comforts you at this time. Mary Winkfield
