Mary Eschmeyer Obituary

Mary Eschmeyer

Sardinia - Beloved wife for 73 years of the late John Eschmeyer, devoted mother of Mary Jo Rickling (Bob), Chuck Eschmeyer (Gail), Kathleen Benken (Michael), Karen Muthler (Dave), Cynthia Steimle (Larry), Duane Eschmeyer (Maureen), Janis Becksmith (the late David), Julie Trischler (Rick) and Jeanne Wahl (Gerry) entered Heaven on June 5th, surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by sons Mathias and Frederic (Fritz) Eschmeyer, as well as her parents and siblings. Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma and great grandma. She was a devout Catholic, and especially fond of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She loved bowling, bingo, the Reds, Belterra, politics and crocheting afghans. She adored her husband, was a fierce protectress of her children and a cheerleader for her grandchildren. Her friendship was priceless. Twenty-six grandchildren and thirty-four great grandchildren enjoyed spending time with her and will miss her dearly. Mary was 93. The family will welcome friends on Saturday, June 9th at her parish, St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arnheim, (6647 Van Buren St., OH 45121) from 10:00am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am. A light lunch will follow Mass in St. Mary Hall. All are welcome. A private interment will be at Gate of Heaven. The family asks that donations be made in Mary's name to the Pregnancy Resource Center, P.O. Box 136, Georgetown, OH 45121 or to St. Michael's Catholic School, 300 Market Street, Ripley, OH 45167. Condolences may be shared with the family through our website, ThomasJustinMemorial.com.

i am so sorry to hear that Aunt Mary passed but she is with Uncle Jack and the whole gang is back together and I am sure they are having a great time like they all did here on earth. I will always remember the great times our families had together growing up and miss them all dearly. You are all in my thoughts and prayers!
