Michael Carson Obituary
Cincinnati - Michael J. Carson, 54. passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness on May 15, 2018. He is survived by his mother Mary Lou Carson, father John JW Carson, 1 brother Steven C. (Wife Jennifer Carberry) Carson, and two nieces, Mackenzie and Michela Carson, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica M. Carson. Services will be held Monday, May 21, 2018, at 1:00 pm at Spring Grove Funeral Home, 4389 Spring Grove Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45223, where family and friends will be received from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Xavier High School. Online condolences can be left at www.SpringGrove.org

I am so sorry to hear this news Mrs. Carson. We chatted in the X bookstore several years back when I was in town visiting. Mike was a good guy and had a huge heart for others. Sad news.

My heartfelt condolences go out to your family from mine. Mike was one of my Best Friends and I was hoping we would be able to reconnect one day. After moving from Cincinnati in 6th Grade to Akron, we drifted apart and Life took over but I still dreamed we would meet again. My Love goes to your family as I can still remember the kindness and tolerance you shared towards me. We're hoping to come to Cincinnati this summer and would like to reconnect and pay our respects! Ed and I wish to convey our sympathy to Mary Lou and Jack on the passing of their dear Son, Mike. He was a very intelligent and caring young man, good father to Jessica and everybody he knew. Mike never, ever missed an extended family members birthday. Each and every one of us received a card and usually a note.
He fought his cancer like a trooper and never complained. I can only imagine that he is now enjoying the company of his sweet little girl, Jessica.
He will be missed by many.
