Nancy Meloncon Obituary

MELONCON

Nancy Marie Meloncon, age 73, peacefully slipped into the arms of our Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 14, 2016. Nancy passed while in the care of Presbyterian Faith Hospice, at her Dallas home of Presbyterian Village North. She was born Nancy Marie Smith in El Campo, Texas on December 5, 1942 to Arthur Lloyd and Hazel Marie Smith. She was married to her high school sweetheart, James Lee Meloncon of Hamshire, Texas for 48 years, until his death in 2010. Nancy loved her work as a school Administrative Assistant in Conroe, Texas and more recently in Burlington, Kentucky. Jim and Nancy left their native Texas for their adopted state of Kentucky in 1986. In 2014 Nancy made her home in Dallas at Presbyterian Village North where she kept active and made many friends of residents and staff. Nancy was most proud of her sons and grandchildren and took great pride in their accomplishments and families. Nancy is survived by her sons, Stephen Craig and his wife Kimberly of Dallas, James Todd and his wife Trisha of Round Rock, her five beautiful grandchildren, Connor, William, Ali, Ashley and Lauren, and her two great grandchildren Bennett and Cole. A private memorial for immediate family will be held at Presbyterian Village North on Saturday, August 27, 2016. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Nancy's name to Presbyterian Faith Hospice or Presbyterian Village North via Presbyterian Communities Services Foundation, 6100 Colwell Boulevard, Suite 225, Irving, Texas 75039.
