MAGEE
Neil F., age 85 of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away December 27, 2014. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie (nee Brosch) Magee for 62 years. Loving father of Fred (Mary) Magee and Kathy (Don) Shvegzda. Loving grandfather of Bryan (Courtney) Magee, Megan Shvegzda, Kevin (Katy) Magee and Amy (Jeff) Hunter. Great grandfather of Tobin, Sylvia, Kaleb and Charles. Brother-in-law to Marilyn Woycke and Clara Brosch. Preceded in death by his parents Harley and Esther (nee Foltz) Magee Sr., brother Harley Jr. (Kaye), sister Mildred (Carl) Wetzel, great grandson Samuel, brothers-in-law Tony Brosch and Leo Woycke. He proudly served in the U.S. Army 1951-53. Neil enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling with Marie and his family, physical fitness, reading, telling jokes and keeping his cars clean and shiny. Special thanks to the caregivers from Home Helpers and for the wonderful care from Hospice of Greater Cincinnati. Visitation will be held at St. Ignatius Church, 5222 North Bend Rd. on Tuesday (December 30) from 10:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am . In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O. Box 633597 Cincinnati, Ohio 45263-3597. Special condolences may be made at www.frederickfh.com

To the best neighbor on Faxon Court, Mr. Neil Magee, with our heartfelt love and many wonderful memories. Neil took the Ahlers girls on their very first vacation to Lake Erie. Neil always complimented Gwen on her "raising two such wonderful girls." Neil always looked forward to keeping Bob company on their many trips to the Dayton Airfield in Dayton, Ohio. Neil kept his eyes out for Bob's cars making sure the tires were good, oil changed, etc. Neil composed "80 Things About Bob" for his 80th birthday. Neil and Marie made numerous trips to Wadsworth to visit Gwen and Bob, and even made a trip to San Diego to see Janell. Neil was a never-ending friend to the Ahlers family. We love him and
will never forget Neil and his wife, Marie, children Kathy and Fred. (ps. Fred used to chase me with grasshoppers tied to a string--like father like son!)

I knew Neil from cardiac rehab and he will be missed. I also went for the rehab and he always had a smile and hello for everyone. Many times he would tell me a little joke. Prayers for Neil and your family during these hard times are being sent.
