Patrick WILLIAMS Obituary

WILLIAMS Dr. Patrick L., 88. Private services were held Saturday at Rossi Bros. Funeral Home, Boardman for Dr. Patrick L. Williams, 88, who passed away Tuesday morning in Cincinnati. Doctor Williams, fondly known to everyone as "Uncle Paddy,' was born January 12, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Vincent and Felicitta (DeMar) Williams and had lived in Cincinnati since 1967. He was a dentist since 1950, having his own practice in Youngstown and then in Cincinnati. He graduated from East High School in 1935, his bachelors degree form St. Charles College in 1939, and in 1950 Graduated form the Western Reserve School of Dentistry. While in Youngstown, he was a member of the Toastmasters, on the staff of the Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital, a founder of the Youngstown Chapter of Alpha Phi Delta, and a 33 Degree Mason. Doctor was also a member of the Ohio Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Cincinnati Dental Association. He served during World War II with the United States 15th Army Air Force as a Navigator. He served in North Africa earning three bronze stars, the American Theatre Company Medal and the American Defense Medal. He is survived by a son Dr. Vincent P. (Andrea) Williams of Cincinnati; two grandchildren Nicholas and Julia; a sister Marie L. Williams of Poland; and many loving nieces and nephews. Besides his parents; he was preceded in death by a sister Isabella Rossi. Arrangements were entrusted to Rossi Bros. Funeral Home, Boardman. Rossi Bros. - A Family Owned Funeral Home
