Paul Kuhlman Obituary
Paul Kurt Kuhlman, 94, of Evendale, died peacefully at home Sunday, August 28th, 2016. Paul was the son of the late Paul and Cecelia Kuhlman and brother of the late Robert. He graduated from Sharonville High School in 1939 where he was the quarterback on the football team all four years. Paul joined the United States Marine Corps and served during World War II in the 3rd Marine Division and was awarded the Purple Heart. On February 3rd, 1951, he married Ruth Ostholthoff of Lockland. He retired from the railroad in 1981 and enjoyed traveling the country with Ruth. Paul is preceded in death by Ruth and is survived by their three children, Jayne Kuhlman, Jeff (Toni) Kuhlman, and Jodi (Greg) Calkins; four grandchildren, Tera (John) Winther, Clara (Ben) Goosman, Marilyn Cassedy and Paul Cassedy; and four great-grandchildren, Charlie, Jack, Lukas, and Tommy. Memorial gathering Friday, September 23, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. with Memorial Mass to follow at 12:00 P.M. at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 330 W Vine St., Reading, OH 45215. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Church.

I am so sorry. The loss of a parent is never easy . Even if you expect that they are going to be leaving for a much better place soon. If you are anything at all like your father he was an amazing man. You and your family are in my prayers God Bless You and keep you my friend. I love you
