Ralph Detzel Obituary
Detzel, Ralph beloved husband of Mary Detzel (nee Fisher). Dear father of Nick (Gabrielle), Jay, Jack (Lucy), & Eric (Maya) Detzel. Loving brother of Ramona Simon, & the late Jack & Truman Detzel. Grandfather of Carey, Ryan, Amie, Nicholas, Chloe & Bella Detzel. Also survived by 4 great grandchildren & many nieces and nephews. Ralph was in the 187th Airborne in the Korean War. He was also a member of the 82nd Airborne Assn., Rakkasans, American Kennel Club & a Field Champion Beagle Trainer. Monday, August 29, 2011. Age 77 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thurs., Sept. 1st at 10 AM at St. Bernard Church (Taylors Creek). Visitation will be held at Gump-Holt Funeral Home, 3440 Glenmore Ave., Cheviot on Wedns., Aug. 31st from 5-8 PM.

Ryan, May God comfort you and your family in the loss of your Grandad. Though your loved one is meeting your Lord and Savior, and you are happy for him, the sadness of missing him is so difficult. May your void be filled with loving memories and God's peace.
