Roger & I will miss our cruising friend Dick. We sailed on 12 cruises together. The cruise that started it all was a cruise around the Hawaiian Islands, then we cruised thru the Panama Canal, from San Juan to Acapulco. Did a New England Cruise from Boston to Quebec and back, sailed thru a Nor'easter on that one. Sailed the Mexican Rivera, Eastern, Western and Southern Caribbean on different ships from different ports. Sailed out of New Orleans on the American Queen Steamboat down the Mississippi River. Last cruise was on the Oasis of the Seas, largest cruise ship afloat. We had some great times cruising together, saw some wonderful things, watched some exciting shows, had a lot of laughs and drank a few G&T's along the way. You will be missed by both of us Dick. If you happen to run into a little blond angel up there named Joey, give him a hug from his grandma and grandpa, maybe you two can buddy up, I'm sure he'd be happy to have a grandpa around. RIP Dick.

Grandpa I love you more than anything. I can't imagine it will be easy without you here. You always stood by me, you never judged me, and you were always there for me. I don't know where I would be without you guiding me. I'm sorry for the times I let you down but I'm trying my best to make you proud of me. I will never forget the opportunities you gave me. I will always cherish our fishing trips together. I wish we could have gone one more time. You're the greatest man I know and the world was a better place with you in it. I could go on but there's not enough words to express how much I love you and how heartbroken I am without you. Rest in peace Grandpa and watch over me and guide me so that I can be as honorable and genuine as you. I love you, love Amos.

Gramps you are missed terribly already, I will always remember our happy memories and share them with Logan, so he always remembers you the way I did. My heart aches but it will heal with time, you are forever in my heart. I love you Gramps, forever your "turkey breath"

I worked with Dick in the 60's in old D-2 on Broadway. He had a foot beat in OTR and was an excellent beat officer. I have not seen him for many years but I will always remember him. My sincere condolences to all his family on his passing during this sorrowful time.
