Always nice to remember someone who was the ultimate human being, served his country, served as good and loving father, served neighbors (me) served inmates, loved skating and brought humor to everyone. I know he is missed!!!

What a dear, dear man to so many. A talented engineer, loving father, grandfather & friend and a good sense of humor. Plus all the service work he did. Even very active in his more senior years. An inspiration to all who knew him. No wonder he is so beloved and missed!!!

In loving memory of a wonderful person. I was sad that I didnt see this sooner. I will always remember the fun we had at skating club and will cherish the painting Bob made for me of Gorman Farm barn. To all the family, my sincerest sympathy. What a long wonderful life he lived.

Because of Bob's willingness to drive me to Mc Auley High School with his daughters on a daily basis, I became good friends with his daughter, Mary Ann. Now after 50+ years, Mary Ann and I are still good friends living in 2 different states and Bob became my "Valentine". I can't say enough good things about this man who was a very fathful and devote Catholic and raised his kids to be the same-one of the best gifts you can give to children. Also, he did ministry work at the jail. And while I never got to do it with him, he loved to ice skate !!!! In his later years, he took up painting, too, and was quite good at it. I would love to build his version of a tree house!!! Rest in Peace, Bob, and have a wonderful reunion with Mary. It was a privilege to know you, you wonderful man!

Bob was an amazing person who was a war hero (B17 pilot in WWII), a super father, a mentor to younger colleagues, and a wonderful friend. He did prison ministry (where the inmates cherished his visits), and his warm heart and great sense of humor were his trademarks. We are blessed to have had him be in our lives.
