1924 - 2010

KOESTER ROBERT - Beloved husband for 63 years of Hazel Koester (nee: Lorenz). Loving father of Pam (Richard) Koester Hackman and Peggy (Thomas) Kees. Dear grandfather of Andrew (Nicolle) Hackman, Bryan (Alicia) Kees, Caroline (Ryan) Hackman Hays, Danielle Kees, Evan Kees and great-grandfather of Isabelle Kees, Natalie Hackman, and Nolan Kees. He was preceded in death by siblings, William Koester, Jr. and Carole Koester Funke. He served as Vice President and was a life-time engineer/ consultant for the William Powell Company and was an active member of Manufacturers Standardization Society (MSS), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and International Organization for Standardization (ISO). He proudly served his country in WWII as a First Lieutenant in the 8th Air Force 305 Bomber Group. Passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the age of 86 years. Visitation will be held Monday, November 1, 2010 from 10AM until time of service 11AM at Gwen Mooney Funeral Home (513-853-1035). Interment at Spring Grove Cemetery.
