POLLOCK
Robert Walker Pollock, 84, of Cincinnati passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. He was born September 14, 1930 in Akron, OH to the late Ralph and Eunice Pollock. Robert served in the Navy, attended the Chicago Aeronautical University and was a 1956 graduate of The Ohio State University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Engineering. As a young man he worked in radio and later pursued a corporate career working for Kenner Toys. He retired as an executive with Gibson Greetings Inc. in 1995. Robert met his wife Evelyn at college. They married in 1954 and were happy together for over 60 years. "Bob" enjoyed the Great Lakes, photography, story-telling, archery, cars, was a handyman (could fix anything for the family) and loved the outdoors. His favorite times were with his family. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Pollock (Wiedmann); his children Jeffrey and Kimberley Pollock and her partner, Wendy Turner; his sister Patricia Rensch and numerous loving nieces and nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Eunice and his older brother, Ralph Pollock. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shriner's Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21st, 2015 at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231. Visitation will be at 10:30am, followed by a service and reception at 11:00am.
