Rosemary OWENS Obituary
OWENS
Rosemary Owens, 65, passed away September 24, 2015. She was born December 3, 1949, in Asheville, North Carolina, the daughter of Joseph Francis Conlon and Clara Catherine (nee Teti) Conlon. Rosemary was the middle child of 17 children. Rosemary is survived by her 3 children, Julie (Craig) Flynn, Amy Morgan, and Kevin Owens and 5 grandchildren, Reis and Blake Morgan, and Caroline, Jackson, and Caleb Flynn. Her special friend, Horace Shores, predeceased her, as did her parents and 3 of her siblings. Rosemary moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1952, where she graduated from Marion High School in 1968. In 1977 she moved to Rockford, Illinois. Rosemary is also survived and missed by 13 siblings, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Special thanks to Fr. Beauvais of the Rockford Catholic Diocese and to Peggy of the Community Care Program for taking good care of Rosemary. A memorial service will be held at St. Cecelia's in Cincinnati, Ohio on Friday October 2, at 10:30 am, followed by a lunch. Lord, Thank you for sharing Rosemary with us. My brother, Horace Shores, truly loved her. Because of Rosemary, Horace and she visited our family in Alaska. We will always remember her loving, generous, thoughtful nature and wonderful sense of humor. Most important I recall her shared Christ centered life. Wishing dear Rosemary's family & friends, daily sunshine from within.
