Ruth G. Luebbe, 89, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Villa Spring Nursing Home. She was a long time member of the TNT Club (Tuesday Night Tornados). Ruth was preceded by her son Mark J. Luebbe. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Barbara M. Luebbe Robinson (Larry) of Richwood, KY, grandchildren Marc Luebbe of Ludlow, KY, Matthew A Robinson of Covington, KY, and Jason C. Robinson (Melanie) of Verona, KY, 4 great-grandchildren and her brother Charles Gribi of Cincinnati, OH Visitation will take place on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Linnemann Family Funeral Home in Erlanger, KY. from 9:30AM to 11:30AM with Mass to at St. Paul Catholic Church in Florence, KY at 12:10 PM and burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery in St. Bernard, OH. Memorial donations may be made to National Kidney Foundation 615 Elsinore Place, Suite 400 Cincinnati, OH 45202. Online condolences to www.linnemannfuneralhome.com.

9/17/2020...... Seven years later..... Memories that I have about Ruth Luebbe...... I enjoyed working with Ruth Luebbe at Colerain Phone Center for several years. She was such a pleasure and fun person to work with. I remember a co-worker would say to her it's time to close up "Mother Ruth" it's time to go home. We always got a chuckle when he say that. She said to me one time, there's not very many young men that would take the time to talk to a woman her age, but he always did. She found him so refreshing.
I'll never forget her using a stapler. Boy, watch out. She'd bang the holy heck out of that poor stapler. Those poor two sheets of paper would have about 8 to 10 staples in them too. Her supervisor, Jim Pettitt would say, Ruth this company is going to go bankrupt you using all those staples. I also knew Ruth from Assumption Church. She always loved being with her children and grandchildren too. God Bless You Ruth Luebbe, you are truly missed by all. Janet Mello

To Family & Friends of Ruth Luebbe: I just found out about Ruth passing away today. I worked with her at Cincinnati Bell and also at Assumption Church. She was a wonderful person to work with and a good passionate friend. She will be truly missed by all.
