Ruth C. Scherer, 92, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013. Beloved sister of Dorothy M. Points, and the late Rita Scherl. Dear Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation, Thursday, May 9 from 9-9:45 AM at St. Saviour Parish 4118 Myrtle Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45236. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday at 10 AM, also at the church. Ruthie was the best aunt - She was so generous and thoughtful throughout the years. She never forgot Birthday's, Christmas Gifts, Weddings, Showers, Graduations, Baptisms, First Communions for all the nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews - all in total around (25). She loved to play cards - Shanghai was her game and even up until the end before she fractured her hip she still seemed to win many hands so we know she looked forward to those Sunday's. I am so glad I could be there for her when she needed us the most. She will be missed and I'll keep her in my prayers and know she will not have to suffer anymore.

RUTHIE, THE BEST SHANGHI PLAYER EVER!!
BUYING THOSE CARDS IN FRONT OF ME AND GIVING ME THAT CUTE LITTLE GRINN. I MISS THOSE SUNDAYS. I TREASURED THEM SO. NOW GO AND SHOW THEM IN HEAVEN HOW IT IS DONE! LOVE AND PRAYERS TO YOU. DEEP SYMPATHY TO THE FAMILY ESPECIALLY "MRS. P, MARY LYNN, AND JANIE"! YOU ARE IN MY THOUGHTS.
