Sherman SMITH Obituary
Sherman Lionel III, age 65, of Cincinnati, formerly of Lexington, KY, passed away in death on Friday, July 6, 2012, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in January of 1979 and served faithfully until his death as a congregation elder for over thirty years. He was preceded in death by his parents Sherman Lionel II and Mary Emma Smith, his brother Wendell P. Smith and his aunt Pauline Baker. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Shirley Ann Smith, his children Wendy and husband Darryle Dixon, Sherman Lionel IV and his wife Milagros and Cecilia Smith; grandchildren Sherman Lionel V, Mikaela Sydney, Hunter Miguel; siblings Paul Allen Smith, Sharon and husband Eugene Bell; sisters-in-law Judy and husband Norman Stepp, Gladys Harmon and Zetta Smith; brothers-in-law Lovell and wife Carolyn Banks, Calvin and wife Sarah Banks, many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Cincinnati Marriott North, 6189 Muhlhauser Road, West Chester, OH 45069. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home 7830 Hamilton Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45231.
