Even though it's been almost 8 years and more for your dear mother. I remember your father's faithfulness by your mother's side when she was so very ill. And I remember his sitting in the chair when he was so ill with his little hat on. He always wanted prayer which was a mainstay of his life.

Dear Laura amd Cathy, What I remember most about your dear father ,Tom, was his trust and love of God. Tom was always able to bring anything to prayer. I prayed with him many times and his prayer was usually for his family and for others in need. I cannot forget either his great love for your mom. Tom would pray for "miracles" and now he has received the greatest miracle of all--eternal life with his beloved Lula and Jesus. My prayer is now with you, may the many good memories that you hold be comfort for you on difficult days. Sr. Augusta M. Seibert chaplain SEHC

I am so sorry. Your families are in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure he is happy to be with Aunt Lou and all of the loved ones we have lost. My favorite memory is of Uncle Tom, Dad and me going to the farm before anything was built and we pitched a tent. That was fun in it self. A huge storm came up and we all literally dove into that tent. It was a scary night but a real adventure. I think about that night often and all the fun we had on the farm. I really do miss all of the generation that has passed. I wish we weren't all as seperated as we are now. I hope that we can make an effort to stay close and remain a family like our parents were. I miss you all and I love you all. Jess
