Thomas KITCHENS Obituary
Thomas W. Kitchens, Jr., age 88, Madison, IN, passed away on December 11, 2011. In 1975, he was appointed Special Agent in charge of the Cincinnati Office of the FBI and he retired in 1979. He then worked for the First National Bank of Cincinnati as Vice President of Security and retired again in 1989. Survivors include his wife, Fleurette Kitchens of 64 years; 1 daughter, Jane Williams (Roger); 2 sons, Bruce P. Kitchens and Joel Kitchens, DVM (Sherry); 2 sisters; 1 brother and 7 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Christ Episcopal Church. Visitation from 5-7 PM Thursday at Vail-Holt Funeral & Cremation Service @ Michigan Rd. and Holt Dr.

Tom was a real gentleman. He conducted my interview prior to my being appointed to New Agents class in May, 1976. May he rest in peace.

I was glad I got to see Tom at Marge Griffiths 80th birthday party last year. He was always full of great stories from his past experiences. Time has slipped by so quicky. It seems like just the other day that you had a brunch for the day after our wedding. A day I will always hold dear to my heart. He will be dearly missed by all.

Dearest Fleurette, Jane, Bruce and Joel. Jamie just called to tell me of Kitch's passing and how very sad this news is. I'll see if there is a way for me to get to Cinci and be with you all.
