Thomas TULLY Obituary
Thomas Joseph "TJ", beloved husband of the late Gay Newman Tully and loving father of Nola Tully and Andrew Tully, both of New York City, passed away on June 3, 2012. Son of the late Thomas John and E. Angeline O'Grady Tully and brother of the late James F. Tully, TJ lived in Cincinnati for most of his adult life. He moved to Stamford, New York, in 2012, following his wife's death. A graduate of Xavier University, Thomas served in the Korean War, then founded a company in international trade and export with offices in Beirut, Lebanon, and Hong Kong. He taught at UC, was chairman and co-chair of several trade organizations, president of the Inventors' Council of Cincinnati, and author of a column on inventions. TJ's radio program, "Inventors' Corner", can be heard weekdays on WMKV-FM. Funeral mass will be held in New York State, and the family will announce a later date for a memorial mass and private burial in Cincinnati, OH. T.J. was a wonderful and insightful volunteer at WMKV public radio in Cincinnati. He will forever be part of the legacy of WMKV Radio. We will always miss T.J.'s wonderful smile and his joy of life when he visited the station at Maple Knoll Village.
