Thomas Wallace Obituary
Cincinnati - Thomas F. Wallace passed away on March 4, 2021. He was 85 years old at the time of his death. Born to Ray and Marie Wallace in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 15, 1935, Tom was an alumnus of Elder High School and graduated from Marquette University with a degree in psychology, as well as a Master's in Business Administration from Xavier University. After working for Ford Motor Company and Merrell Chemical, he became a highly successful business consultant and wrote several books on manufacturing strategy and operations. He loved reading, traveling, hiking, canoeing, snorkeling, and spending time with his family. Tom is survived by his wife, Kathryn; his children and their spouses (Dave and Shelly Wallace, Anne Wallace and David Broscious, and Mary Clare and Tom Brennan); his step-children and their spouses (Brynn and Peter Fossett, Michael and Meredith Simmons, and Amy and Mark McDuffie); and thirteen grand-children. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Evelyn Marie (Ennis) Wallace. In accordance with Tom's wishes, the family will not be holding a memorial service. Mr. Wallace was a pioneer in today's modern manufacturing software systems. I read many of his books, and because of that he was a mentor to me. Following in this footsteps and living in the Cincinnati area, I wrote a book about implementing ERP systems in manufacturing. I was very honored he wrote a review for the book. God bless him and his family.

Rest In Peace to a legend in the vast world of business planning. We can’t predict the future but Mr. Wallace certainly provided the tools and insights to have a fighting chance against uncertainty and the future.
