I really enjoyed working with Velma at GE. We could speak that "Kentucky" speak. She died way too soon.

Velma was a dear friend and neighbor for many years. She, Jan Beedle and I were sort of like the three Musketeers; venturing out to see what conquests we might make next; dinners, birthday celebrations, trips to a local zoo, church ice cream social, etc. Velma was more like a sister than a neighbor and she will always be remembered in my heart for our discussions about family, etc. out on the back patio. Her generosity and love of plants will live on in my yard and my life. God bless my dear friend. I will keep Shannon, Paul and the family in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all!
