William Beers Obituary

BEERS

William Douglas Beers, age 95, of Anderson Twp, passed away on January 31, 2018. Doug was the loving husband of the late Phyllis Collins Beers and is survived by daughters Kassy (Jeff) Corken and Noelle (David) Houben, grandchildren Ryan (Sasha) Corken and Kailey (Eric) Corken-Golz, and great-granddaughter Théa Corken. A memorial service will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Avenue , Mt. Washington, on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11 AM. Friends may visit the funeral home on Saturday from 10 to 11 AM. Military honors and interment will immediately follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorial contributions may be given to the charity of your choice or to the Iowa State University Stanton Carillon Beers-Doe Scholarship Fund via www.music.iastate.edu/carillon/donation/donation.php Additional details about Dougs life are available on the website at www.tpwhite.com.

I remember Doug well from A.M. Kinney in Cincinnati in the 1970s. He was a fine gentleman, and excellent chemical engineer. May he rest in peace in God's Grace.
